Did anybody found someway to trial reset or get notrialhud working for the updated versions?im triying to do some system snapshot compare (files+registry) to see what i found to happen after the begin trial button pressed. If we found the modifications (additions, deletions, modifications) maybe we can restore it.also i found that new version checks connection to internet when opened (if you're offline when open the PT4 it says that cant check the license online and it offers you to use the trial)maybe in future will have to block internet access to PT4 so it keeps that way and to avoid updates.if anyone is up we can work it out and make it happen again. If somebody needs it, i can upload some mirrors with a previous version of PT4 that's still working with the NotrialHUD and the correspondent INI of the memory address with an script that deletes the Winlicense regisrty keys that you use to delete wit TrashReg to reset the trial. Im still triying to get new way to deal with updated versions because i need to use some of the updates in my poker room. About the NotrialHUD for the newer versions im skeptical that the same old patch will work further. I'll try to update the results of my tryals. Cheers
Some programmers create hidden files or system files linked to the trial version of a software and place them in the System32 folder or the folder with the drivers. They can even be 0 bytes or empty files. If they add an extension called.sys or.ini, users will think twice before editing the files. The garbage men will ignore them too.In addition, files can be encrypted, and if users try to make changes, the trial version will no longer work due to manipulation of the corresponding files. In this case, installing the program creates several files in different places, especially files related to Windows operation. Based on the data written to these files, the program can recognize whether the test period still exists or has expired. This is another explanation of how software trial versions work.Read: TrashReg also removes registration keys from obsolete trial software.

When you run the utility with the /nogui parameter, the process of searching for and deleting keys will immediately begin, after which the utility will exit without showing a window.
